AURALIC ARIES | HighRes Audio player

High-resolution DSD-capable network player with outstanding sound characteristics, each equipped with its own Femto clock for USB and digital outputs and an external AURALiC Pure-Power (TM) linear power supply. The pure digital ARIES is multi-room capable and can be operated simultaneously on several control apps. The device is delivered with AURALIC's Lightning DS app (for iOS, from iPad 2nd generation), whereby a variety of other functions are possible. The Streamer has a 3-inch OLED display for status information as well as an additional remote control (AURALiC RC-1) for basic functions like play, pause and skip track. As inputs are dual-band high-speed WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0. As digital outputs are available coaxial and optical S/PDIF connectors, an AES/EBU interface and one USB interface realized with AURALiC's patented ActiveUSB ™ technology. On USB ARIES provides PCM formats from 44,1 to 384kHz at 16, 24 and 32-bit resolution and DSD as well as double rate DSD to compatible D/A converters. The other digital outputs are limited to max. 24bit/192kHz.
