Excellent, bidirectional USB audio format converter and signal distributor. The MC-1.2 enables mutual conversion between USB-audio streams and AES3, AES3id and S/PDIF signal formats. The incoming audio signals to the USB port are distributed generally to all five digital outputs (AES3, AES3id, S/PDIF coaxial, S/PDIF optical and S/PDIF BNC). Assuming the same clock rates, it is possible at the same time to convert an audio signal at a selected digital input (AES3, AES3id, S/PDIF coaxial, S/PDIF optical, S/PDIF BNC) into a USB audio stream. The unit can be powered either via the integrated power supply as well as via the USB interface and thus allows mobile use.
