Self powered 2-way studio monitor. The Genelec 8030 C delivers an analytical sound without discoloration for fatigue-free listening. With its small dimensions, it can be easily integrated into almost any listening environment and is also suitable for mobile applications (protective grilles in front of the drivers simplify transport). The robust aluminum housing makes the loudspeaker low in resonance and stable. Rounded housing edges and optimized sound guidance ensure very good spatial imaging and a wide listening zone. Despite the small size, there is a long bass reflex channel that enables precise and deep bass reproduction. The loudspeaker can be adjusted to the installation location and the room using switchable filters. The IsoPod stand decouples the monitor from the surface and enables it to be aligned to the listening position. Self powered 2-way studio monitor.The Genelec 8050 B is the largest monitor in the 8000 series and, while still compact, is a powerful monitoring system with excellent resolution. Due to its high level reserves, the loudspeaker is suitable for close and medium listening distances, even in larger rooms up to approx. 40 m². The robust aluminum housing offers decisive acoustic advantages: the rounded edges prevent sound diffraction and ensure perfect localization and imaging; the sound guidance offers a wide listening zone and an absolutely neutral sound. The long, flow-optimized bass reflex channel extends the bass range up to 32Hz. Discoloration caused by setup can be compensated for using switchable filters. The frequency response can thus be linearized even if the setup is not ideal. The Iso-Pod stand decouples and allows the loudspeaker to be tilted to align it with the listening position. The 8050 switches on automatically when a signal is present. After an hour without an audio signal, it goes into sleep mode. This function can also be deactivated if required. The self powered Genelec subwoofer 7050 C is a perfect match for the 8010, 8020 and 8030 monitors. It offers analog inputs and outputs up to 5.1 surround and handles bass management. The integrated crossover ensures that only frequencies above 85Hz are passed on to the connected speakers. These are thus relieved in the bass range and can deliver a higher resolution. The overall system also achieves a higher sound level. There is also an LFE input up to 120Hz for surround. The patented LSE design (laminar spiral enclosure) ensures powerful deep bass without flow noise. The Class D power amplifier guarantees high power reserves without distortion. The important adaptation to the room acoustics takes place via DIP switches. The phase position can also be adjusted in this way. The automatic switch-off reacts if there is no signal for a longer period of time and thus saves energy efficiently.
